Adam Pertofsky - Director / Editor / Writer
Adam was born in Anniston, Alabama where his father was in basic training at the local army depot, and grew up north of New York City in a town near the Hudson River called New City. After graduating from High School, he went onto college at the University of Michigan, where he graduated with a liberal arts degree in communications.
Recently, Adam earned Academy Award® and Emmy nominations for his Documentary, The Witness: From the Balcony of Room 306.
Currently he is an Editor/Partner at Rock, Paper, Scissors, where he has earned numerous commercial editing awards, including a Gold Clio, a Bronze Clio, multiple AICE and AICP awards.
He co-wrote and directed his first feature film, bgFATLdy, released in June 2008. He has also directed various commercials for such brands as Budweiser, Rolaids, NBA Digital and the PGA Tour.
His latest film, a short titled “Dead in The Room” was produced by Slamdance as part of the prize for their Short Screenplay Competition winner.
